Accreditation Process
The academic requirement for full membership of the Institute is set at degree level, and candidates who possess an accredited
degree are said to be fully meet the APIB's academic requirements.
However, the APIB also recognises relevant professional awards which
exempt the candidate in full, or in part, from the requirements of
the educational framework. |

Graduates from the Bachelor degree programs are granted
full exemption from the written examinations of the APIB.

Any other function acceptable to the Institute which requires the
exercise of professional judgement relating to some aspects of building
or construction.
Note: Experience in an operative, or a first line supervision position
CANNOT be counted towards the requirement.
ADMISSION is based upon academic attainment and experience in building
practice at the required level and duration as sought by the Institute
from the employment fields described above.
